Grandi novità per il reparto Ricerca e Sviluppo Gilardoni. Gilardoni sta studiando, insieme all’università di Durham, un software per il riconoscimento delle forme.
“Non-explosive threat detection Beyond the United States, Italian inspection systems manufacturer Gilardoni is working with Durham University in the United Kingdom to develop a machine learning algorithm for automated threat detection by shape.
Speaking to Jane’sin November 2017 during UK Security Expo in London, product specialist Andrea Rotta said the aim is to facilitate
the detection of guns (including weapon components), knives (metal or ceramic), and other sharp items in bags or small parcels”
