Gilardoni actively participated in the last Biennial of the AIPnD (Italian Non-Destructive Testing Association) exhibiting various products and presenting a preview of the new Phased Array RDG5000 ultrasonic instrument.
The event took place at Unahotels Expo Fiera Milano, in Pero (MI), from October 23rd to October 25th.
At the Gilardoni exhibition stand, the Biennial participants were able to observe and see in action the RDG 2500, RDG 4000 and the new RDG 5000 ultrasonic instruments. The latter, presented as a prototype, is the first Phased Array and multichannel ultrasonic instrument completely designed and manufactured in Italy.
There have been many positive feedbacks, including the readings given by our engineers who have explored the innovative features of this new tool:
- The problem of Dynamic Depth Focusing in Phased Array equipment: theoretical evaluation of the functionality and practical solutions implemented in the new instruments;
- Implementation of procedures for verifying the functionality of standard ultrasonic probes and Phased Arrays and generation of the related AVG / DGS diagrams in ultrasonic equipment.
As always, the Association did an excellent organizational job. The spaces of the fair were functional and elegant, during the event we had the opportunity to meet many customers but also to confront ourselves with our competitors and to participate in lessons and interesting and stimulating technical readingst that dealt with topics related to every aspect of the Non-Destructive Testing.
