March has been full of congresses and exhibitions for the Non-Destructive Testing division. The last two took place in France and Morocco last week.
From 7 to 10 March Gilardoni attended the Global Industrie in Lyon as guests of our partners METRONELEC & W-TECH. This is the largest national event that brings together the main players in the industrial sector and is the main showcase for those who innovate in their respective field.
Compared to previous editions, this year there was an above-average attendance and a strong growth. It was an important opportunity to meet and discuss with several potential customers about our x-ray product for non-destructive testing.
We are always by our customer’s side to find the best solution to meet the different needs.
In the meantime, from the 7th to the 9th of March the eleventh edition of the World Conference dedicated to high-speed rail took place in Marrakech, Morocco. The Congress, organized by the world association UIC (“Union international Chemin de Fer”) and by the Moroccan railways (ONCF), has been successfully convened ten times since its first edition in 1992.
Now renowned worldwide as the most important large-scale global event concerning high-speed rail, it addresses both HSR (High Speed Rail) operations and technology issues. The appointment returns after two years of forced break (it was initially scheduled for 2021).
The Congress was organized around several main moments: round tables and parallel sessions where were discussed the latest technologies and results of HSR planning, construction, technology and equipment, operational management and safety.
