The industrial fluoroscopy systems consist of a mechanical component (cabinet and manipulator), a radiological component, and a TV chain complete with TV, monitor and console for object movement.
To conform with each client’s inspection needs all systems can be partially or completely customized, both mechanically as well as for testing procedures. Specimen movement while in the testing process can be controlled manually, via CNC or with a Personal Computer.
This unit includes: control panel, real time monitor for image viewing, x-ray controller and, in the automatic version, a computer to manage the manipulator.
The M&V 4 system can program the sequence of positions and exams with a simple self-teaching procedure and
powerful, user-friendly software. KV and mA parameters specific to each exam position are managed via an RS232 serial line. Programmable digital image processing and automatic analysis software is available as an option. The computer can be connected to external devices such as printer, magnetic support, etc..
The Gilardoni cabinet can be provided with two types of manipulators: “Column” or “C arm” according to the specific application and object size. The main axis of the manipulator are:
- Magnification axis (Z)
- Right/left movement axis (X)
- Raising and lowering axis (Y)
- Rotation of the table where the specimen is fixed or placed (V)
- Tilting of the table (U)
Axial movement can be controlled manually through the joysticks on the console, or automatically, via a CNC with Personal Computer. This allows loading of inspection programs utilizing self-teaching techniques.
