The heart of the x-ray machine is the x-ray tube. The 2011 Gilardoni calendar celebrates its importance and beauty by looking inward with x-rays of the tubes themselves, both historical and contemporary. The resulting images, assembled from x-rays and photographs, show the x-ray tubes in all their luminous elegance and harmony of form.
All x-rays were created with Gilardoni equipment.
