FEP ME software
All Gilardoni systems are delivered with a standard software package. Two optional versions are available on request: ADS Software and Threat Insertion Software (TIP).
Standard software
The standard software version displays images on two monitors: one is black & white, the other shows colored images
The pixels of the second monitor are color-coded according to the average atomic number of the material forming the scanned objects, i.e. orange (organic), green (inorganic), blue (metals) and black (too dense to be penetrated).
ADS Software
The ADS software offers the same features of the standard software, with significant improvement for operator recognition of suspicious articles.
In fact, the ADS system highlights explosive with a red frame and drugs, currency, and dangerous metallic objects with a yellow frame.
Moreover, a colored frame overlays the suspicious article and features both a flashing and an acoustic alarm.

TIP: our Software Threat Insertion capability
The Threat Insertion software (TIP) adds to the standard software the capability to insert false positive images into the operator screen.
The TIP software is an effective mean to monitor and quantify the operators' performance.
